Balloonzilla Takes on Wedding MBA!

Our time at The Wedding MBA 2017 was incredible! It was such an honor to be selected to decorate this event and we took so much pride in designing the perfect balloon décor.

Our trip began with a heavy heart in the face of all the tragedy surrounding Las Vegas at the time. Our hearts go out to all of the victims and their loved ones. We also give our thanks to the first responders and volunteers for their dedication and compassion.*

It was amazing to see the resiliency of this city and its visitors as we gathered for the Wedding MBA. #VegasStrong

The convention itself was such a fun way to meet fellow event vendors and we were so happy to attend. It was great to be around so many supportive members of the industry. We learned so much about emerging trends and made some really awesome connections. (Thank you everyone who stopped by to say hi!)

Day One

We started off the convention strong. Our team was so inspired by the vibrant bustling of Las Vegas that we used different hues of orange balloons. Entering the convention center, you were able to see our balloons lining the rails of the stairs.

Utilizing our ombre color scheme we incorporated it into a balloon wall as our WOW piece. The vibrant colors really popped against the white background. Event attendees were able to stop and take photos before heading into the event.

Once you arrived at the entrance of the convention area, you could see that we lined the walls with Ombre columns. The focal point being the stars that we placed at the top.

Day Two

For the second day of the convention we decided to go with a more traditional wedding color scheme. The flowing strands of white balloons were accented by a glimmer of silver balloons.

We decided to make a more whimsical balloon wall. The white was so beautiful on it’s own we were really able to get creative with the design aspect. Many event attendees commented on our walls likeness to pearl strands and we can’t help but agree.

Day Three

For the final day, we wanted keep our beautiful white wall, but also add some flair. To add some more color we turned on hidden lights inside our balloons. These color changing lights were a surprising twist to attendees who saw our all white backdrop from the day before. Adding rose-gold letter balloons made our wall a lot more playful. It also gave attendees a chance to move around the letters and have a bunch of fun.

Our Booth

In our booth we used Balloonzilla signature colors, green and white. Creating a whimsical balloon wall as our booth backdrop we were able to show event attendees exactly what we are about! We were excited by the response to our wall, as many attendees stopped to take pictures with their customized balloons. There was so much excitement surrounding our section as our booth became interactive.

Attendees were also able to stop by our booth and receive a customized balloon as our gift. We featured the mesmerizing calligraphy by Alyssa Lowe aka @fawnlettering. Her captivating lettering drew in crowds the entire day. It was amazing to see her write each individual name so beautifully, while still getting to know each person and share their excitement!

Thank You!

We are so grateful to the event planners at Wedding MBA for allowing us this amazing opportunity. The event was an adventure from beginning to end. It was so wonderful to be face to face with so many industry leaders and show them how imaginative balloons can get. Our team had so much fun and we are so excited to see where the next event will take us!

* During the convention, to benefit the GoFundMe account created for the victims and their families, Wedding MBA attendees, Wedding Wire and The Knot, came together to throw a benefit party at JEWEL nightclub inside the Aria Hotel and Casino. They asked attendees for a $10 donation which they would then match. With 1,500 guests in attendance, they were able to raise $15,000 for the victims and their families!
